Postby tclangham » Mon Sep 09, 2013 1:36 pm

Jay Glazer of Fox reports that the New England Patriots' third-year pro broke a bone in his wrist on the first play from scrimmage Sunday and is scheduled for surgery Monday. He's expected to miss a few weeks.

What a bummer. Ridley is clearly in the doghouse and Vereen would have been the go to guy in that New England offense. Runs with authority and can catch the ball out of the backfield. I hope he comes back quick and is still productive.
A win next week and all is forgotten.

I already dropped him...need someone productive on my bench in case Bush or Charles goes down, and they both have a bye before then anyway, Greene and Powell on the bench just ain't gonna cut it...

Had 1 good game and the next thing is he broke his wrist. I guess a healthy full season is too much to ask.
and I just hope he's not using the same doctor that Gronk used for his wrist! lol
