Waiver Wire [WHIR]

Postby SF2313 » Mon Sep 09, 2013 10:47 pm

I'm last on the Waiver Wire list, but am still contemplating over dropping two players with the hopes of landing Hartline and Bell.

Starters:
Brady
Peterson
Murray
Cobb
Decker
DeAngelo
Graham
Dawson
Pitt D/St

Bench:
Hilton
Ivory
Britt
Sanders
Finley
Harvin
Sudfield

Contemplation: Dropping Sudfield for Hartline; dropping Ivory/Britt for Bell...

Thoughts?

I guess my question is if I think these players will clear waivers, would I be better off waiting the waiver process out? Because, being tenth on waivers, if these players are claimed, I'm not getting them. Subsequently, I would be dropping players in the process that I don't necessarily have to?

Just trying to get a jist of what the waiver process is about (and whether I'm giving up too quickly on Britt/Ivory).

I would drop Sudfeld for sure. With reports that he may have torn a hamstring coming out, i think he will be a non factor. I would then also drop Britt. Almost no Titans receiver is worth owning.
QB- M. Ryan, T. Pryor
RB- A. Morris, L. Bell, A. Ellington, C. Ivory, M. James, D. Martin
WR- J. Nelson, A. Brown, J. Boykin, D. Heyward-Bey,
TE- J. Graham, C. Fleener

Thanks for the feedback. So you would advise me to go for Hartline and Bell through waivers (dropping Sudfeld and Britt in the process)? Which player should I go harder after?

I like Hartline a lot and Bell is a pretty good pickup as well. If you look on any experts waiver adds for the week, you will see these 2 players near the top of the list :)

Yeah I would make the moves as well. Pretty sure if you claim them on waivers and drop your guys in te same transaction, if the guys don't make it to you you don't lose your players though.

First post is right: if they make it to you, you could get them on FA without losing your spot. Wait it out.

Mine?

does your WW reset weekly based on standings? if so then use the priority, if they don't wait it out so you can jump some priority spots.

This is the key, if you're waivers reset weekly then it doesnt matter. I would definetly drop Sudfeld and Britt.

You don't drop anyone until the waivers are processed, IF the players make it through to you, you'd drop the player and add the other. if the players dont make it to you, the players stay on your roster

help with mine?
