Who To Drop For TE

Postby skratchmo » Mon Sep 09, 2013 11:17 pm

My team is:

QB - Luck, Romo
RB - Peterson, Ridley, Lacy, Ivory, Moreno
WR - Colston, Demariyus Thomas, J. Jones, T.Y. Hilton, A. Jeffrey
TE - B. Myers, Eifert
K - Hartley
D - St. Louis

Julius Thomas and Jordan Cameron are both available on the WW. I'm leaning toward Cameron since I already have Demariyus Thomas from Denver. I was thinking of dropping Eifert or Ivory. It seems like Eifert is going to be splitting targets with Gresham unless something happens. I was thinking Ivory because its the Jets and their RB's combined yesterday only had 50? rushing yards.

Any thoughts? Leave a link I'll reply

Drop Eifert. Ivory isn't great but the Bucs had the no. 1 run defense in the league last year (though this was partly a consequence of having the worst pass defense) and Eifert is your backup anyway. Having two TEs on your roster is barely necessary, let alone three.

Do you think Cameron or Thomas would be the better pickup?

Definitely drop Eifert, and I think I would go with Jordan Cameron in this spot. Cameron and Thomas are solid plays, but I think Cameron just has less people to compete with for targets. They both could end up pretty similar.
