Vincent Jackson and Mathews for Spiller

Postby TheOnlyCorwin » Tue Sep 10, 2013 1:43 am

I am in a non-ppr, 14 team league. My roster:
QB Romo
WR Dez Bryant
WR Vincent Jackson
WR Marques Colston
RB Ridley
RB Mathews
TE Martellus Bennett
W/R Ben Tate or Vincent Brown or Kenny Stills

Another owner wants to trade CJ Spiller to me for Vincent Jackson and Ryan Mathews. It looks like a slam dunk yes to me, but please someone give me your thoughts.
I would also get back Kenny Britt or Andre Roberts from him, (most likely Britt), I just want your opinions.

Thanks!

Do it. Spiller is a first rounder and despite his relatively poor outing and Fred Jackson showing that he might steal some carries, you can't pass this up. Especially considering that you have Dez and Colston at WR and your RBs are fairly weak.

I just offered a trade for Spiller in my league with the hope that his owner will undervalue him based on week one.

That's what I was thinking. I just needed positive reinforcement, I guess it would be like me taking CJ Spiller with my 3rd pick because that's where i got jackson. I would do that in a HEARTBEAT. Ryan Mathews is fodder that can be replaced by a midseason waiver wire pickup. He looked bad tonight.
