No Brainer Trade? ...Or am I missing something?

PPR league. Was offered WR's Vincent Jackson & Hakeem Nicks for TE Gronk & WR S Smith.

Based on Week 1 stats, both V Jax and Nicks would become starting WR on my team over Austin & Shorts and I already have J Graham as my starting TE.

Current Roster:
QB: A Rodgers
RB: R Bush
RB: J Charles
WR: M Colston
WR: T Austin
WR: C Shorts
TE: J Graham

Bench:
QB: C Palmer
RB: D Wilson
RB: B Giovani
WR: M Floyd
WR: D Hopkins

i like VJax and Nicks more than Smith although I'd worried abotu Nicks staying healthy

but yeah its pointless to have gronk if you wont start him and youll get points now
please help with my team, WHIR

can you flex a TE? or no flex.. not sure why you'd take Gronk other then to trade him. Deal looks pretty solid to me, Vjax is a WR1 and Nicks could be as long as he's healthy, I like both better then Smith.

help with mine?

Yeah you gotta do this trade, this one of those examples where your stacked at a position and it makes no sense to keep a backup that you'll only be able to play one time. Do it!

Thanks everyone for confirming my thoughts on this trade. To answer the question, YES, we can Flex a TE (and QB) in this league but I originally grabbed Gronk in the 6th round to use as either trade bait, my Flex later in the season, or as a possible 6th rd keeper next year. At this point, my WR are weak so it makes sense to make the move now
