Is it a rolling waiver list or one that resets?

I'd probably pick him up either way. Even with Gronk back, he'll be a safety net and also have some good trade value. I expect him to be a top TE this year.

Mine?

in a 14 team league i would pick up thomas, then when gronk comes back use one for a trade. or keep both, gronk is showing he isn't exactly immune to injury.

well you'll need to pick up someone, with Sudfeld battling a hamstring "pull" I dont see him putting up huge numbers, they are playing Thursday after all. I'd target Thomas, so many weapons in that offense, I dont think he'll be the primary target of any defense. I understand your concern with the waiver priority, if you feel like you can just punt on TE again this week and be okay then save your priority, you will eventually need to grab a TE though..

help with mine?

I would actually suspect Sudfield to get more play this week over last, as Belichick likes to mix things up. I wouldn't waste your waiver on Thomas tbh... with Gronk back in a few weeks it sounds pointless. Would much rather use a waiver for a player with more than a couple weeks of relevance.

Thanks for your help on mine.

Yea i would with no question pick up Julius Thomas. Guy was a former basketball player, great athleticism and can shine with peyton manning like dallas clark did. Gronk is the unquestioned second best TE in fantasy but his health is still in question and securing a Top ten TE in julius thomas will benefit your squad.
