Wilson trade on the cheap??

Postby dblj9911 » Wed Sep 11, 2013 12:26 pm

I'm in a 10 team dynasty league, we keep our entire 25 man roster and draft rookies and free agents. We start 1 qb, 3 wr, 2 rb, 1 te, 1 k, 2 idp, 1ppr, 6pt all tds.
So the Wilson owner is thin all the way around, do I look to trade wr depth for him? I was thinking of offering Moreno / BJGE and one of J. Nelson, Edelman, Blackmon. Thoughts? Rosters below of quality players. Thanks. WHIR
My team

If you can get him for BJGE / Moreno and like Edelman i would do it.

Edelman would be selling high = nice

I'm not a super fan of Wilson, at least not yet. So wouldn't give up Nelson. Blackmon maybe, he was just super good at the end of last season.

I like the idea of Buying low on Wilson. The NYG dont have anybody else so he'll get his numbers. Id try to keep Nelson because i think he's due for a solid year but any of the other combinations, i would do for Wilson.

If you're going after Wilson, I wouldn't be comfortable with offering more than Edelman. Maybe add in Blackmon if you really believe in Wilson. Buying low on him seems practical at this point.

So would a trade of BJGE ( he has Gio Bernard) and Edelman do it? Edelman will be the Welker now, but like Amendola he has had a injury history. Is it enough for him?

I wouldn't give up Nelson either. Try any combination you want of Moreno/BJGE/Edelman/Blackmon. I just don't see why anyone would take those players for Wilson in a dynasty league. I don't have enough experience evaluating player value in a dynasty league, but if you're real high on Wilson, I think I'd rather give up Colston than Nelson.

Sell high with Edelmen and dont settle for Nelson. He performed great but that is his talent level, Edelmen may lose some looks IF Amendola stays healthy and once Gronk comes back.

I agree with default01 in not being able to see why he would go for it.

But if he agrees to BJGE and Edelman definitely go for it!

Definitely worth it. Edelman might be at peak value now and Wilson can be a top RB. Moreno of BJGE are very tradeable
