Is it time to Trade BOLDIN? Was it a Fluke? Thoughts?

Postby magicmen » Wed Sep 11, 2013 3:21 pm

Is it time to trade anquan just in case this week was a fluke? Was it a fluke?

I desperately need a TE and I have spectacular wideout depth. We can only start two WR and I have two other studs.

Looking to take advantage of anquan's sTellar week. Should I look to trade him for Jason witten or Jordan Cameron. In my league, the owners of these guys need WR and could make the trade.

OR?
Should I not even be thinking about trading him?!?

Thoughts?

Yes it might be time to trade Boldin, but no it wasn't a fluke.

We probably saw Boldin's best game of the season, but I love Boldin in SF. He's a perfect fit with regard to skill set, attitude, temperament, and style of play. He's going to produce in SF, especially if they decide to take advantage of having him go down the middle and (a) expose matchup problems when they pair him with Davis; and (b) utilize his pass catching and strength.

That said, if you really need a TE then Witten's not a bad target. In some ways they are similar with regard to value in fantasy. Both probably came into the season a little undervalued. Boldin because of how he was used in BAL (though it worked fine for them), and Witten because last year was a bit of a down year. Likewise, both had big opening weeks, though may not see that kind of production again. I expect both to outperform what they did last season. So both guys are probably a little overvalued in the short term, but undervalued in the long term, if that makes sense.

Help with mine: Vincent or Marlon Brown?

Thanks. I'm debating on giving him one more week or taking advantage of week one and trading him at a higher value now.
I responded to yours as well. Appreciate the advice.
Any other thoughts? Suggestions?

not a fluke!
He and Davis will provide opportunities for each other all season. Add to that Kaps feet and Gore keeping D's honest and the passing game is in for a big year in SF!
