Better backup QB: Palmer or Pryor? WHIR.

Standard 10 team league. 4 points per TD. Romo is my starter. Pryor probably has more upside, but Palmer is the more sure thing. Which would you want?

I would say Palmer, if Romo misses any time ever - I'd feel better with Palmer. He's a legit 300 yard threat with a top receiver, plus Arizona faces Jacksonville when Romo is on Bye while Oakland faces Houston (probably the only time you'll need the backup).

Pryor's legs outweigh Palmers arm regardless of Fitz, in my opinion. I see Pryor rushing for 600 yards and 7 or 8 TD's this season. He came out of nowhere but he looks legit. If McFadden can stay healthy to help block and Moore and Streeter can pick it up, I think he will finish above Palmer.

thanks for mine!

Id say Palmer... I think the Raiders overall are just a worse team and I could see them and pryor getting shut out in games...Palmer and the Cardinals have no legit running game so I could see him always putting him numbers especially with those WRs...Id at Palmer

Help me out

This year? Palmer, just too many weapons in the desert.

Next year and beyond? Pryor. He may be a legit QB for the Raider Nation, but I want to give him a year to grow into the role. If he was a Vick/Cam/RG3/Kaep/Wilson, he wouldn't have been behind Palmer last season, IMO.
