Trading AP for Spiller WHIR

Postby steveliebo » Thu Sep 12, 2013 12:52 pm

I'm in a 14 team league im currently 0-1 with .5 a catch. I got an offer for Adrian Peterson. We start QB, 2WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1FLex

I'm getting: C.J Spiller and Larry Fitzgerald

Hes getting: Adrian Peterson and Antonio Brown

My Team
QB-Luck
WR-Andre Johnson
WR-Nicks
RB-Peterson
RB-David Wilson
TE-Witten
Flex-Antonio Brown

Spiller would replace Peterson as my top back and FItzgerald replaces Antonio Brown. What do you guys think i should do? I will help in Return.

Great proposed trade. Pretty even. But I think Peterson is a notch above Spiller and Antonio Brown is going to lead the league in receptions this year, Pittsburgh has no where else to go.

Well to look at it AP is much better than Spiller, and obviously Fitz is the much better wr. So is the downgrade to Spiller worth the upgrade to Fitz? I'd pass and keep AP.

Man this a tough decision! I gotta say keep AP. The floor of AP and Brown is a lot higher than Spiller and Fitz. While you could argue that the ceiling is higher for Fitz and Spiller, I prefer the consistency from AP/Brown on a week to week basis.
Brown should have a nice season considering he is the #1 for Big Ben and the lack of a Pits running game is gonna make the offense pass heavy. Keep your guys!

I would probably pass on this trade. Spiller is special, but that Buffalo offense is not great. And there is talk of Fred Jackson getting more involved. Don't ge me wrong, Fitz is amazing... but not enough to part with AP.
