Would you rather have Isaiah Pead or Bernard Pierce? WHIR

Postby munstermann » Thu Sep 12, 2013 12:54 pm

Some guy in my league just dropped Pead. Now Richardsons performance was a bit subpar but he got quite a few catches. I feel like Peade could overtake him in the depth chart in a week or two. Bernard Pierce on the other hand is one of the best handcuffs in the league, the only problem is for him to become fantasy relevant he would need ray rice to go down. I only have room for one of them... which should I go with.

Alternatively I also hav Leon Washington, who, with the injuries to Vereen and company looks to be shaping up to be a receiving back for NE. Should I drop him instead?

I don't think Pierce takes as many touches from Ray Rice as was hyped in the preseason. I think Pead is who the Rams want as their every down guy. I go Pead.

I'd go Pead as well. Pierce is only going to get significant touches if Rice were to go down with an injury. On the other hand Pead could possibly overtake Richardson for the starting job in St. Louis. If you arent starting either guy then go with the upside play and pick up Pead
