What is this sausage league about. I clicked the link and understand the format and rules but I still have some questions.

Where is it played? Yahoo? ESPN?

Is it a money league?

Live draft? or Auto Draft?

I have to ask this but is it FREE?

Who qualifies to play in the sausage league?

Im sorry if everyone knows this info. I clicked the link above and it did not say much about the sausage league.

the sausage lg is the brain child of our resident "squeelin rodent". it's a lg that is composed primarily of cafe members, and is quite the who's who on the board. from the draft all the way to the SB, it's been a hard-nosed battle that has been well-fought.

the schematics...if you will...

the lg is free, although a hefty price of your eternal soul to the FF devil is usually sufficient for a good seat for the big game.

it is also by invite, or at least thats what i was told... ;-)

the racing sausages hold a live draft and expect full participation from every owner.

i'm sure there are more dark and mysterious secrets out there for the league, but unfortunately this reporter has been held in the dark for most of the outlandish rituals...such as the "sausage of the day"....i shudder at the thought... :-o

Slowkidz, thank you for the info. I now see that i am not worthy of the sausage league. If it is only thru invite only, you should of received a invite with over 4,000 posts on this forum. Maybe you have been invited to the sausage league but do not wish to partake the mysteries of the sausage league. A rookie such as myself would probably get a royal butt whooping by the founders of this site. The squeelin rodent did say there is one available spot this year. When will we know who is picked? I would volunteer but I am probably not worthy of such rituals like the "sausage of the day."

But wait! You don't have to be a member of the league.
Now everyone can enjoy sausages all year long with the 2004 RSFFL "Sausage of the Month" calendar!
(Just wait'll you see September's Bratwurst ... oh yea!)
You will not be disappointed!

I forgot to wish both of you good luck next weekend. This league was tough and competitive, and I would put the RSFFL Superbowl bound owners up against any "experts" league. Congrats Nero and Weaz - much respect. ;-D
