McGahee - short bench, need help! WHIR

Postby BearsFan65 » Wed Sep 18, 2013 11:11 pm

12 team PPR league. Start QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, DST, K. My roster:

QB - Eli
RB - McCoy, R Bush, G Bernard, B Brown
WR - Cobb, Welker, A Roberts, C Givens, G Tate
TE - Witten
DST - Denver
K - Bailey

Notice only 13 roster spots, and 9 of those are starters. So my bench is Gio Bernard, Bryce Brown, Chris Givens, Golden Tate. With the Richardson trade, looks like McGahee will be signed and become the lead back there. And I have to believe Bryce is the guy I would drop to pick him up. So here's the thing - with Reggie dinged up and Gio not yet the lead dog in Cinci, I'm in a bad spot at RB2 if nothing changes. On the other hand, if McCoy gets hurt, Brown is way more valuable than McGahee. Drop Tate? I still feel like he's going to get things going once Seattle starts balancing their offense.

And in the time it's taken to write this, someone has probably already snagged McGahee from the FA pool. But help me out anyway. What would you do here? WHIR, thanks!

Tate is the only guy I see that you can drop to get McGahee. I would do it; who knows, McGahee could find the fountain of youth. Worth a shot.
