avatar question

Someone made me a good avatar but he said he cant serve it or something like that. Can anyone tell me what that means and how to set it as my signature. Its probably very easy but im not much of a computer guy. Thanks

If you have that all you have to do is put [img] at the begining of it and [/img] after it. That should work.

How big is it? will it fit as your av?

I can't help you without getting the pic. You have to have a link in order to post a pic so you wil have to PM the guy back and ask him for the link to it. He should have it unless he erased it.

I have one other idea, go to the message he sent you, press quote on it and when you get to the page highlight and copy the link to the image. Then go to your profile and paste it inot your sig section. That should do it.

Copy and save the image from your Personal Message, and then go to your cafe profile and choose "upload avatar from machine", locate the place where you saved the image, choose it, and all should be Kosher (as long as avatar fits size requirements, which it should, if you had another cafe member create it for you).

Oops, image is too large. You should easily be able to edit the image down to a reasonable size (80 X 80 pixels, -6kb) with readily available software. As far as software, I'll leave that up to others as I use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, which I'm sure you don't have.
