C. Shorts or S. Smith. TRADE for who?

Postby IronCityGuy » Tue Sep 24, 2013 5:54 pm

I'm stacked at RB in a non-PPR league.

D. Martin
J. Charles
D.Murray
J. Bell
K. Moreno

Trading Joique Bell and D. Heyward-Bey to Bush owner and will get back one of these WR's and one of these RB's. What's the best choice? Only side note is my WR1 and WR2 both have week 9 byes and so does Shorts. Leaves me C. Givins, E. Sanders, and K. Wright for week 9.

Steve Smith
Cecil Shorts

Bryce Brown
Pierre Thomas

Thanks in advance

Thomas will be more productive short-term, but I prefer Brown out of those two backs for the inevitable point when Chip Kelly runs McCoy into the ground. As for the other two, in spite of the slow start, I'll take Steve Smith over the guy with Gabbert/Henne throwing to him, especially with Blackmon coming back to steal looks.

BOLD PICKS FOR 2013
A. Rodgers outscores D. Brees in ESPN standard scoring by 40+.
D. McFadden plays 16 games (but ineffectively for someone whose only problem we always assumed was health).
M. Lynch=not a Top 10 RB.
V. Cruz=Top 7 WR.
G. Tate=Top 36 WR.
