Bench Spiller? Need RB help - WHIR

Postby wareagle84 » Tue Oct 01, 2013 8:37 am

12 Team H2H Standard Scoring: 1-3... desperately need a win

Here are my options at RB (pick 3):

DeMarco Murray (vs Den)
CJ Spiller (vs Cle)
Ray Rice (vs Mia)
Lamar Miller (vs Bal)
Fred Jackson (vs Cle)

I can start 2 of these players in my RB slot and am planning on starting a 3rd in my Flex. Which 3 should I start? Spiller is banged up, playing on Thursday night, and has been ineffective all season. The Ravens have randomly stopped giving Rice the ball, but he should finally be back to 100%.

Leave your link and I'll help you out. Thanks!

Murray, RR can't bench a healthy stud, flex would be whoever plays between spiller and fjax. or you can go safe and play miller.

Rice has just been such a disappointment so far... plus, the fact that the Ravens only ran the ball 2 times in the 2nd half last week is very concerning. They allowed Flacco to throw 5 INTs instead.

Murray and Rice are starting for sure. Yeah, the gameplan sucked last week. Yeah, Rice is yielding more carries to Pierce than he probably should. He's still Ray Rice, though, and he's still very, very talented--much more so than your other options. I'm actually pretty indifferent between Miller, FJax, and Spiller at the flex spot. Miller had some nice runs last night and is starting to run well--definitely a guy on the upswing, IMO. FJax has played better than Spiller thus far, but Spiller is the more talented player. Gun to my head, I say roll with Spiller.

Thanks for the help with mine.

also bernard pierce has a calf injury so he may eat less into RR this week.

Murray and Rice for sure this week. The tricky one is flex. It's hard to sit a stud but Spiller is going up against CLE who has given the least amount of points to RBs. I might play it safe with Miller.
