Huge QB Problem - week 6.

Postby doromo » Tue Oct 08, 2013 3:22 am

14-team PPR - 6 pts on TD for QB.

I have Matt Ryan as my starter who now has a bye.

I have Carson Palmer as my backup. I drafted him thinking he would come back from the past and be a great seasoned veteran with Fitz back. Well I'm wrong... and he is up against SF this week!

Waiver options: (this is ugly)
Nick Foles, Phi
Mike Glennon, TB
Chad Henne, Jac QB
Brandon Weeden, Cle
Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ten
Geno Smith, NYJ

I'm thinking of picking up Smith if I can... I'm 12th out of 14 on the waiver pick.

Thoughts?

WHIR!

I might be more inclined to go with a veteran QB such as Foles or Henne. Neither have an ideal matchup but have proven themselves beforehand and have some nice weapons on offense to work with.

I'd go with Foles. He still has weapons and has proved that he can play at a competitive level. TB D is no slouch but I think the opportunities with the skill position are still good enough for him to put up points!

I would absolutely go with Nick Foles...not even a question. That offense is going to go...go...go...and he's going to be a major factor. He may make mistakes, but the upside with his WR core and McCoy is too good to pass up.

Help if you can...

for me it's between foles and geno. neither has a great matchup this week. since this is about filling in for ryan for a week, i'd say going with foles is the smarter move.

lil' help
