Trade: A.Gates or Witten for TY Hilton or M.Wallace...WHIR*

In the middle of the pack in a 12-team standard league, and looking to separate myself

#1 team looking for a TE and I could use some flex help

He's offering M.Wallace or TY Hilton for either Witten or Gates

EDIT: Current offer:
Give: Witten and Edelman
Get: M.Wallace and Bilal Powell

I like both over my flex options but I'm hesitate to part with either TE though I think it would benefit my team. But, so far S.Smith and S.Johnson have left much to desire

What does the cafe think? And who would you go after? F.jackson?

1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 W/R, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF
My team:
QB: T Brady, J Cutler
RB: A Peterson, A Morris, B Brown
WR: V Cruz, W Welker, S Smith, Stevie Johnnson, J Edelman
TE: J Witten, A Gates
K: S Haushka
DEF: Bengals, Cowboys

His team:
QB: P Manning
RB: D Maritn, Chris Johnson, Fred Jackson, B Powell, P Thomas,
WR: M Colston, D Jackson, Mike Wallace, TY Hilton
TE: J Gresham, K Rudolph
K: G Hartley
DEF: Chiefs, Texans

Leave a link.

I like Ty Hilton (more because his QB) but I'm worried about consistency and value. I NEED the cafés help

I would prefer Wallace over Hilton. They both are hit or miss options. But If im playing someone who's a fantasy whack a mole, Id gamble on Wallace. Regarding what TE to offer, I rather give up Witten. Gates is the primary option in the SD passing attack. Witten will at times take a back seat to Dez. The emergence of Terrence Williams and eventual return of Miles Austin should lead to a decrease in targets for Witten.

I agree, I like Gates over Witten long term (despite this past week)

What about

Witten/Edelman for Wallace/B Powell

I get RB and WR depth, and viable flex starts every week, thoughts?

If you could do that last trade you mention, I would prefer that one. Powell is a good add-in.

I agree with the last trade you proposed written/edelman for wallace/powell. Wallace is no upgrade of edelman but powell is a starting rb on a run first team.

Honestly, I don't know if I'd go for either Hilton or Wallace. Both are still boom or bush WR3's right now and unless Hilton begins to be playing in two wideout sets. I would go for a guy like Gordon

bump for current offer.

Witten/Edelman for Wallace/Powell. Currently on the blocks. I'm leaning toward no.

Im not a fan of this really, now that Goodson and Ivory are back you will never want to start Powell most likely. And Wallace just doesnt seem to have that chemistry with Tannehill, I would be looking to do a lot better. You have 2 top 8 TEs which means that there are 3-4 teams that are struggling at TE right now. If I were you I would shoot for Fred Jackson straight up for Witten, he is the one that is desperate right now not you.Your RBs have been through their bye weeks so you can get by but it would be nice if you could get a third one just in case. Otherwise i would try and get a bit more creative, maybe Witten and S Smith for Colston?? I think your team is fine though and you have a few flex options so i wouldnt be desperate and sell low just to get a bit better of a flex, use your strength to your advantage.

Looking at your lineup, it would seem this is only going to get you plug-ins for bye weeks. I would not give the #1 team the one cog he is missing for a bye week plug-in. That's like giving him a stick to beat you with!
