Decker for Sproles

Postby footballmaniac » Thu Oct 10, 2013 10:50 pm

I am starving for a consistent RB and basically not much out there. I could trade Juilus for Chris johnson but that I think would be dumb. So...I can start 2 WR, 2RB, 1 flex and 1 TE. The trade below has been proposed to me and my roster is also below. Seeing I flex out thomas and start only 2 WR, I can give up a WR for a RB. what you guys think?

My
Decker

I really need some help in deciding whether to make the deal. Ridley might be back on track but who knows. my 2nd runnings back would be one of stacey, lamar and MJD. My starting WR would be blackmon and morgan with Nicks as a backup. This is non-PPR.

if u could get someone else for J Thomas...maybe. But check Graham's status first.

too bad its not PPR or else its a no brainer but i think its close and u may need the RB later on.

Andre Ellington not on waivers maybe Brandon Jacobs?

Jacobs is out there but I have #3 waiver and not sure he will fall to me. Even with Jacobs, I think he just becomes one of my other average backs.

agreed. I'm just not sure of Sproles when it comes to non PPR. I know that in my league he is solid bc its PPR. if he is a stop guy in yours too regardless of that then go for it. I do like Jordy tho and if James Jones is out he will be more valuable.

I would do the deal. Decker is a hit-and-miss #3-#4 WR and you could use another decent RB to cover injuries in your RB core. Plus you have the WR depth as well.
