What would you give for AP? WHIR

Postby j diggs » Thu Oct 10, 2013 11:42 pm

New UPDATE:
OK, so I offered TRIch + Cobb + Garcon, he wasn't really feeling it.
THEN I offered TRich + DT + Blackmon or Hilton for AP and Welker. He said he is going to give it serious thought. He's understandably a bit hesitant b/c it's AP.
He also mentioned that he's not crazy about DT's boom-or-bust style (7 pts vs dallas).

Do you think I should go w/ a counter if he rejects? What would you give?

UPDATE: Ok, so looks like there are a few options for an initial offer
1) Martin + Garcon for AP (less likely he'll accept IMO)
2) Martin + D Thomas for AP
3) TRich + Cobb + Garcon for AP
4) TRich + D Thomas + Blackmon or Hilton(?) for AP + Welker
Which one would be your FIRST offer?

Idk if he's willing, but I think he's open to offers

His team:
QB Aaron Rodgers, Cutler
WR welker , Eric Decker, VJax, Nate Washington, D. Moore
RB Adrian Peterson, DeMarco Murray,F. Jackson, B. Jacobs
TE Tony Gonzalez, Jordan Cameron

I've proposed Cobb + TRich for AP (I know it's pretty low) He pondered it for a bit, but was reluctant b/c AP is "guaranteed 20"

He wants WRs, and I assume not to lose all his RB depth.

What would you be willing to package?
Or should I target Murray? Or is he not worth it?

I would offer Martin and Garcon. If I owned AD, I'd take that deal. You upgrade at RB and have the WR depth to deal with losing Garcon.

Hope that helps. Here's mine: http://www.fantasyfootballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=541462

I would trade Foster and Garcon personally, he may be willing to bite on that

Do you think that'd be worth it?
Foster is my best back IMO. Would Martin + Garcon have a good chance?

Yeah, I think so. If he doesn't bite at that, try Martin and Cobb. Cobb has a little better equity in his name than Garcon, so this could be seen as "upping" your offer. Truth be told, I'd rather have Garcon going forward--maybe offer Cobb first if you feel the same way?

Somebody suggested I offer D Thomas + Martin, w/ the thinking that I'd still be really strong at WR, etc. Is that too much? Or a good move for me, considering my WR depth?

That's too much, IMO, at least to start. Start out a little lower on the WR side of things rather than trotting out your big guns from the get-go. I'm very on the fence re: whether DT + Martin is a good deal, but given your WR depth I'd lean yes.

I'd give him Demaryus Thomas, and TRich, AND one of your lesser WRs

FOR: Welker, and AP

He already has two Broncos studs WR, but would take Demaryus over those two, however Welker in the long run will prove equally as valuable or more, and he'd willingly give you AP- the best!!! You get Top notch RB, and WR.

If you mean Steven Jackson by "jax"- try him before TRich. Then go for that!

I find 2 for 1s,,, or 3 for 2s are enticing, deceiving, and get it done!

Help me... its actually a veto trade question in commish and this forum
