I'll take option C) Other.

I kid. Schaub is the play here, IMO. Smith is just too cautious. Sure, he won't throw a ton of picks, but his unwillingness to throw downfield caps his value. Schaub has better talent around him and is, as we've all seen over the past month, willing to make the high-risk/high-reward throw. Higher variance guy for sure, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing.

Yeah I would go with Schaub over Smith hoping that a checkdown to Arian Foster goes for a TD.

Anything interesting on the Waiver Wire?

Thoughts on mine?

I have Matt Ryan Out this Week on Bye.

I have Aarian Foster and Andre Johnson starting....

I was able to pick up Schaub in like the 12th rd of the draft this year.

I think Joe Flaaco and Brandon Weeden are the only serviceable guys left on the Wavier.

Thanks for all you guys help

Maybe go with Flacco, but he's really about equal to Schaub in my book. You could go either way.

Also, drop whichever guy you don't start and then drop the other guy next week when Ryan comes back. No need to hold on to so many QB's, IMO.

Thanks for helping on mine.

I'd go Flacco if you can get him. GB's D took a big hit this week. They lost Clay Matthews so they won't pressure the QB too much, and they lost a starting CB as well. If you can't get Flacco, I'd go with Schaub. He's due for a bounceback week, and everyone is putting up points against STL.

yeah, i gotta join in the growing trend to recommend flacco here. i've never been a big schaub guy, and it's hard to recommend alex smith for fantasy football when he's more of an IRL football type player. if anything, i'd actually recommend alex smith if your team is loaded and you want the highest chance of the lowest bottoming out cuz i think he's a solid ~12-15 point play at the absolute worst. looking at his weekly tallies of approximately 17, 22, 14, 25, 10 thus far, if you figure ~9.5 points the lowest you'll risk and wanna stay locked in around ~15pts, smith very well might be your guy.

however, if you're like me and you wanna aim for 20/+ per week from your QB, then out of the choices between schaub and flacco i think the contract kid flacco has the best chance to get up into teh 20s and maybe even flirt with the 30s if the game turns into a proper shootout. but if it's a really tight matchup and you don't wanna risk getting under 10pts come hell or high water, welp, that's where i'd look to smith.

would you mind taking a look @ my thread? viewtopic.php?f=19&t=541482 >> thx!
