McCoy/Jackson for Martin/Thomas WHIR

Postby Anvil » Fri Oct 11, 2013 7:11 pm

I give LeSean McCoy and Vincent Jackson, I get Doug Martin and DeMaryius Thomas. It’s a .5 ppr league and I also have Knowshon Moreno. Do I pull the trigger on this deal? Post yours and I’ll help in return.

Oooh, that's an intriguing trade my friend!

I don't like giving up McCoy, but I do like getting Thomas back.
I may pull the trigger, DEPENDING on your depth at those spots. I think martin will bounce back. VJax will a bit, but maybe not as much as martin.
If you really need the WR help, do it. Otherwise Mccoy is >>>Martin at this point
But thomas would prob swing it either way

Help w/ mine?

alright so my squad is 5-0 and is as follows:

QB-Tony Romo
RB-LeSean McCoy
RB-Jamaal Charles
WR/RB- Knowshon Moreno
WR-Brandon Marshall
WR-Vincent Jackson
WR/TE-Terrance Williams
TE-Jordan Cameron
K-Prater
DST-Browns

BN-Sam Bradford
BN-Kendall Wright
BN-Jerome Simpson
BN-Robert Woods
BN-Heath Miller
BN-Jordan Reed

I’m still extremely torn on this. This could make or break my season.

Dude you're 5-0, somehow stacked at RB. I wouldn't. I'd offer Moreno + vjax fir d Thomas. He prob wouldn't accept though. That 2 headed monster at RB is invaluable. Like 18/game each in a tough RB season

Very good point, it was an auction and I got McCoy at a cheap price relative to the other big names. I’ve tried every other offer and this guy is only willing to do this. It is very tempting to get Martin at a low price.

This all depends on Martin. If he pulls his head out of his ass, this is a great deal for you; if not, it's a pretty clear loss. Personally, I would stand pat because the Bucs' offense scares the hell out of me. They're going to run Martin into the ground, sure, but he's going to continue having a hard time finding holes. Lots of 25-carries-for-70-yards games, IMO. If your outlook is different, I have no problem with this deal.

Hope that helps. Here's mine: http://www.fantasyfootballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=541462
