Bush + Matthews for Charles, Jackson, and Wilson?

Postby justneedadvice » Sat Oct 12, 2013 4:32 pm

Hey guys. I am kind of new to fantasy football and was just proposed a trade in my 12 team league with standard scoring:
I would get:
Reggie Bush
Ryan Matthews

I would give up:
Jamaal Charles
DeSean Jackson
Russel Wilson

My other RB's aren't very good:
Hillman
Ronnie Brown
Jacquizz Rodgers
Ahmad Bradshaw

My only other WR are:
Mike WIlliams
Victor Cruz

My QB is Andrew Luck.

Is it worth it to give up Charles, DeSean, and Russell Wilson to solidify my running back situation?

Thanks!

Bush + Matthews for Charles, Jackson, and Wilson?

Fleeced! Those two offered shouldn't even be able to buy Charles from you.

Bush's value will continue going down and Mathews isn't a startable option even in 12 team leagues.

I would counter with Charles, DeSean, Wilson for Bush, solid RB2 (ie. Gore), WR1 (ie. Demaryius).

What is the Bush owners roster?

Thanks for the reply.

The guy offering the trade has (other than Bush and Matthews):
QB Cam Newton
RB Arian Foster Le'Veon Bell
WR Vincent Brown Greg Jennings
TE Daniels and Cumberland

Any others have an opinion? Does the above trade seem fair?

Ewww,

I would hold. Your team is much better than his and he has by much to offer you. Any RBs on the wire?

This kind of trade rape can get you incarcerated in most states. Stay away, brother!

Ok so the consensus seems to be this is a pretty bad deal for me?

It's "pretty bad" in the same way the Kennedys had a "pretty bad" trip to Dallas.

This is another owner trying to rob you blind, dude. If I were in your shoes I'd be offended by this offer. The other guy is trying to play you for a fool. Bush is a low-end RB1, while Charles and Jackson are both top-5 (you could even argue top-3) guys at their positions. Mathews (low-end RB3/high-end RB4 and not even on the flex radar, IMO) and Wilson (more potential than Mathews, but hurt) are just throw-ins here, so this essentially boils down to you giving up Charles and DeSean--the two best players in the deal--for Reggie Bush. No way, Jose.

If I were you, I'd troll your opponent right back. Counter this offer with whoever your kicker is straight up for Reggie. He'll get the message and won't screw with you again. I'm usually not a fan of these kind of antics, but this deal is so bad that I think a little passive-aggressive counter-trolling is in order.
