WW pick up #3 WHIR 100%

Postby con-vicks » Mon Oct 14, 2013 10:29 am

Hey guys, currently #3 on my league record (3-2) but trying to get better. I'm #3 for waivers that doesn't reset every week.

Waiver options:

A. Ellington for McGahee
B. Jacobs for McGahee

Should i try to pickup both? Who else would you drop? Olsen or Rivers would be my guess...what ya'll think? Do it or stay put?

It wouldnt hurt to have both Jacobs and Ellington. Week 9 you will need Rivers and Olsen so I wouldnt drop them. I would drop McGahee and Vereen. Vereen isnt even eligible to come off ir until week 11

Thanks for the help on mine

seeing this is a 10 team league..I think its pretty safe to drop mcgahee and Olsen. Olsen has ot been lighting it up and to carry 2 TEs just for 1 week bye in a 10 teamer seems unnecessary. I would take Ellington before Jacobs. I do not believe in Jacobs but I would grab both.

how about mine?

I think the first move is to drop Olsen for Ellington. Agree with above re: the need (or lack thereof) to roster two TE's in a 10-teamer; you'll have fine FA/waiver options when Thomas' bye week comes. Not sure I'd bother with Jacobs, but if you want him then I guess McGahee is the guy to drop. I think I'd rather have McGahee ROS, though.

I would go with Ellington over Jacobs, especially in a PPR league. Jacobs looked great Thursday, but I wouldn't trust him to put up back to back good games. Ellington is getting a lot of work in the passing game as well as rushes.

Here's mine:

Agree. And I would drop Vereen.

Try to trade McGahee and drop olsen.
There should be some TEs out there on the WW

Rivers should prob be starting for you some weeks. He's killing it

Should i target J. Randle over both of these guys?

How many RB's are you able to start each week? I would definitely place a waiver claim on Ellington and drop Vereen instead (changed my mind from my earlier post - hold on to Olsen till your BYE week is fulfilled) and place a waiver claim on Randle and drop Harvin. I would also place a claim for Jacobs and drop Harvin. Set it up like this:

1). Add Randle - Drop Harvin
2) Add Ellington - Drop Vereen
3) Add Jacobs - Drop Harvin

At least if you don't get Randle in the first 3 claims (you have the #3 claim) that go through you still have a chance to grab both Ellington and Jacobs.

so Randle is the first one i should grab?

I can start 2 RBs every week but Morris hasnt been consistent looking for a better RB2.
