Guy is giving me a choice of players to choose from. WHIR

So my buddy needs a top receiver to solidify his team, and I need a good consistent back to complete my team.

12 man league
No ppr
No keeper

Start:
1 QB
2 RB
2 WR
1 TE
1 W/R
1 K
1 DEF

My team:

My team:

QB: Rodgers, Bradford
RB: Foster, Powell, David Wilson, Snelling, Tate
WR: AJ Green, Dem Thomas, Blackmon, Jennings
TE: Bennett, Gronkowski
K: Gould
DEF: Denver

His team:

QB: Kap, Smith
RB: Charles, Rice, Morris, Ridley
WR: Nicks, Wayne, Colson, Ty Hilton, Pettis, R. Woods
TE: Finley
K: Henery
DEF: Bengals, Ravens

So here's the deal. He told me I can pick any WR and any RB on his team, excluding Charles, and he would trade them for AJ Green and any other player from my team that I choose.
Which two players should I pick from his team? Who should I pick as my second player from my team?

Cliff Notes

Who would you rather have out of:
Morris, Rice, or Ridley?
Colston, Nicks, Wayne?

Then pick my weakest player.

So AJ + player of your choosing for any non-Charles RB and any WR off of his team?

I'd go Green and Snelling for Morris and Wayne. I think this would be a very good deal for you, as much as it sucks to give up AJ. Morris looked to be picking up steam in week 6, has already had his bye, and plays in the suddenly below average NFC East. Wayne is his best receiver and a very good WR2. Losing Snelling doesn't hurt you at all.

Hope that helps. Here's mine: http://www.fantasyfootballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=396&t=541739

I like Wayne and either Morris or Ridley. I think Ridley is going to show his value the rest of the season.

UPDATE:
..He forgot he had Morris when he made that offer lol
I told him if Morris isn't in the equation, I wouldn't give up AJ Green, but would still let go of Thomas.

So, now it's Rice or Ridley?

I'm leaning towards Rice because Ridley has only been solid the past game or so. But then again, Rice has been inconsistent this year as well.

Lol yes. He sent me the offer via text while he was at work, so he wasn't looking at a computer. (He just received Morris through a trade a few days ago, so he isn't used to him being on his team)

Which of these trades do y'all like more for me?

D. Thomas and Snelling for Rice and Wayne
or
Aj Green and Powell for Morris and Wayne

I would keep D.Thomas and trade away AJGreen. And I would counter with Snelling instead of Powell.

If this was a PPR league I would say go for Rice but not too sold on Ridley just yet. If you can pry Morris away from him you did good. ;-D

Unless you're getting Morris, then scrub this deal. Rice is too inconsistent. Ridley has some upside but he has a dodgy reputation for fumbling. Right now he'll be okay, but when Vereen comes back, Ridley is one fumble away from losing half his fantasy value as Belicheck will undoubtedly give Vereen the chance to shine. Hell, Vereen will certainly come in and poach on Ridley regardless of whether he fumbles. You don't want to see that come fantasy playoff time. Vereen is why I won't touch Ridley, thinking in the long term.

I don't think giving up Powell and AJ for Morris and Wayne is a terrible deal. I think Morris will be a solid RB1 for the rest of the season, and D. Thomas and Reggie Wayne isn't a bad WR corps at all to roll out with a solid RB corps. I would do it if I could get Wayne and Morris for AJ and Powell. Help with mine? viewtopic.php?t=541750
