AJ Green for Reggie Bush WHIR

Postby munstermann » Tue Oct 15, 2013 3:03 pm

I would give up AJ + Bryce Brown for Reggie.

Think this would be worth it? I could use the help at RB, and with Percy Harvin coming back in a few weeks, I feel like I could afford to scrap a WR.

My Roster is below (I clarified, I only get to keep one player at the end of the season.)
:-:12 Team ESPN PPR SINGLE PLAYER Keeper League w/ IDP's:-:
QB: Matt Stafford
RB: DeMarco Murray HURT
RB: Stevan Ridley
RB/WR: Antonio Brown
WR: AJ Green
WR: Calvin Johnson
TE: Jimmy Graham HURT
DEF: Carolina
K: Vinatieri
DE: JJ Watt

Bench:
QB: Terrell Pryor
RB: Andre Ellington
RB: David Wilson HURT
RB: Bryce Brown
TE: Heath Miller
WR: Aaron Dobson
WR: Harry Douglas
WR IR: Percy Harvin
RB IR: Andre Brown

In a keeper league I think green is more valuable than bush. I believe you can get a player like McCoy, Martin, forte straight up for green. Just bc you have the depth doesn't mean you should give your players up for less than what they are worth, don't get me wrong I like bush I just think you can get better, but if it is only bush it's still decent since you need rbs.

Please help with mine

Man I have to agree with richter. If it wasn't a keeper league, I would pull the trigger, but you can't give up the opportunity to keep AJ Green and Calvin Johnson, 2 guys that will be top 5 WRs for the next 3-4 years at least, for Bush. Great running backs come and go a lot more often than great WRs. You have the 2 most valuable WRs in the league over the next few years, so in my opinion, I wouldn't mortage my future for current success. Help with mine? viewtopic.php?t=541750

Sorry man, didn't see where you could only keep 1. Man, I still don't think I do the deal. I think you can survive with Ellington going for Murray until Murray comes back (only a week or two right?) Obviously try and get Randle, if you can (I'm sure he's not available or this wouldn't be as much of an issue). If you can be patient with Murray and aren't totally fed up with Ridley, I would stay put. If you think losing Green is worth solidifying your RB corps, then go through with it (I'm just hesitant because of Bush's injury history). A lot of it also depends on your record.

Yea I kind of agree about MJD, and I thought people were thinking I was crazy for thinking about that trade, because you are the first to really really like the trade.
