Better ROS? Bowe/Douglas/Randle/J.Edelman

Postby WhipperSnappers44 » Wed Oct 16, 2013 6:19 am

Hey all....I have D.Bowe/J.Edelman as my 4th/5th WR after D.Thomas/T.Smith/K.Allen and was wondering if I should drop either/both of them for a WR on the FA list for purposes of ROS value. The league is 12 man H2H Standard (Non-Keeper) Start: 1QB, 3WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1K, 1Def

FA WR's: H.Douglas, R.Randle, R.Woods, B.LaFell, M.Brown, K.Wright, S.Johnson, M.Williams, M.Austin, P.Harvin, etc....

My Team:

QB: T.Romo
WR: D.Thomas
WR: T.Smith
WR: K.Allen
RB: D.Martin
RB: D.Woodhead
TE: J.Cameron
K: A.Henery
DEF: KC Def

Bench: M.Stafford(QB), J.Edelman(WR), D.Bowe(WR), L.Bell(RB), A.Ellington(RB), J.Finley(TE)

Thanks for the help!!

1) Randle
2) Edelman (would be #1 if PPR)
3) Bowe (cut bait, IMO--put him on the market and take whatever you can get)
4) Douglass (drop him for Harvin)

Txs for the reply....

That is R.Randle (NYG - WR)....so I should grab him and drop D.Bowe?

I currently have Bowe and Edelman....I tried trading Bowe in a package deal for just about anything and I'm not getting any replies back.

According to your list I then should probably keep Edelman (Non-PPR but with Amendola back out it could be wise) and then drop Bowe for R.Randle or Harvin....is this correct?

Txs again!!

Ah, misread your post. I think the move is to drop Bowe and add Harvin. Bowe isn't much more than a brand name at this point, and Harvin has legit high-end WR2/low-end WR1 upside when he returns. Would rather have Harvin than Randle for sure.

I'm in the same boat. I would drop Bowe for Harvin.

Txs for the replies...

Since I cannot get a reply to another post for a different league if you all/anyone can help here....same league setup...

Would you drop S.Smith (WR-Car) for D.Moore(WR-Oak) or anyone else? (say Harvin?)

Also, would you drop MJD for guys like Ellington/Z.Stacy/B.Jacobs/J.Randle???

Txs again!!!

I'd drop Moore for Harvin. Smith has more trade equity than Moore, so I think you keep him and try to move him to someone else the next time he has a big game.

Wouldn't have a problem dropping MJD for Ellington in a PPR league, but in a standard league I'd hold on to him. Randle is a temporary fill-in for Murray, Jacobs just had his best game of the year and Brown will be back soon, and I don't trust the Rams enough to take a flier on Stacy. If Ellington got more touches I'd say grab him in a standard league, too, but as things stand he's far more valuable in PPR.
