Trade for McCoy

Postby utility-hook » Wed Oct 16, 2013 10:19 am

I have pretty good depth at RB & WR so looking to upgrade at RB. I was thinking about Ridley, McFadden, & VJax for McCoy. I doubt McFadden has had his last injury this season and I dont trust Bill Belichick to stick with Ridley. Thoughts?

10 Teams Start QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1Flex, 1TE, K, D, non ppr

My Roster
QB Manning
RB Foster, Gore, Lacy, Ridley, McFadden, Stacy
WR Welker, Gordon, VJax, Hilton, Garcon, Nicks
TE Graham, Rudolph
K Tucker
D/ST Pick of the Week

His Team
QB Romo, Dalton
RB McCoy, T-Rich, Mendenhall, McGahee D-Rich
WR Cobb, Colston, Bowe, Mike Williams,
TE Celek, Gronk
K Bailey
D/ST 49ers, Hou

If you can get it - do it! I doubt that it will fly though. Ridley is a sometimes starter and McFadden is not worth much right now (IMHO). He is hurting for WR with Cobb hurt so you never know. You may have to give up 2 WR and a RB to get him.

On the surface, some might think that you are giving up too much to get McCoy but your team has incredible depth in front of the players that you would be trading away, which makes this a pretty easy decision for you. You should definitely take the deal.

Without checking the current health situation of all involved, I like this trade for the other team. If you offered this trade to me I would counter looking for an upgrade over Vjax or Mcfadden by throwing in an underachieving Bowe.
