Ridley for Finley whir

Postby broseph jacobs » Wed Oct 16, 2013 12:07 pm

This makes sense to me, but am I leaving myself too thin at RB?

That deal makes perfect sense to me too. The timing on Finley is perfect too, his looks should continue to increase with the Cobb injury. You still have 3 RBs better than Ridley IMO, with GB relying more on the run than they have in a while. Drop a TE and take a flier on another RB to fill that void since NE RB is Russian Roulette to begin with

Good luck, and take a look at mine:

I can certainly see why you would be tempted to make this trade but I don't do it. Finley has been a "break out" candidate for the past 3 years (or more). Ridley is coming on right now. I agree you are strong at RB and the right trade would benefit you. But trading Ridley for Finley is not good value. TE are the easiest position to find on the WW...next to PKs of course.

You can find a trade that will benefit you more.

I tend to agree with Oscar on this one. I still think Ridley has more value and, while Finley's value is increasing, the Cobb injury could easily just mean a ton of targets for Nelson and Jones. What does your free agent pool/WW look like at TE? Maybe there is an upgrade there.

Honestly Broseph I don't love it. I get the idea, GB will likely increase its TE usage, but Ridley had pretty much his first good game last wk. And getting Finley isn't exactly selling high IMO. I mean you could do it, and I don't think it's terrible, but I'm not sure how much of an upgrade it is. Might even be able to get a little more in return
