Jamaal Charles for Megatron - Straight Swap

Postby Maniac » Wed Oct 16, 2013 1:41 pm

Guy has offered me Megatron in a straight swap for Jamaal Charles and I am thinking of accepting but after a few 2nd opinions.

It is not a PPR League and my other RB's are Eddie Lacy, Le'Veon Bell, Danny Woodhead and for now Chris Johnson (though I have had a trade accepted, but not yet cleared veto involving Johnson + Mike Wallace for Brandon Marshall + Greg Olsen - not all that fussed on Olsen but currently don't have a backup TE for when Jordan Cameron is on a Bye).

So if we assume that trade goes through would leave me Lacy, LeVeon Bell + Woodhead with no clashing Byes (Lacy + Bell already had theirs) which might leave me a little light at RB but strong at WR.

I am toying with the idea of countering his offer and asking for Megatron + DeMarco Murray in exchange for Charles and maybe Dwayne Bowe. Not sure he accepts this, and I know Murray is probably out maybe 4 weeks, but it gives me more options late in the season and he is desperate for a RB now so I figure why not see if he will be willing to add him as well. My current WR's are Bowe, Bolden, Blackmon, Keenan Allen and the aforementioned Wallace - but with a bit of luck he will be changing into Marshall very soon.

Any thoughts on any of these ideas ?
QB: Peyton, Dalton
RB: Charles, Lacy, L.Bell, Woodhead, C.Johnson
WR: Boldin, Blackmon, Wallace, Bowe, Allen
TE: Cameron

Pending Trade
Wallace + Johnson for Marshall + Olsen
