ahhhh gotta love the waiver wire

I'm headed to the superbowl to face my opponent...his backs are Holmes and Davis...since both have been amazing and relatively injury free, he hasn't needed much depth at RB...until NOW

With only Shawn Bryson on his bench, I have snagged the top 4 RB's off the waiver wire, leaving him with Kevin Faulk and Jamel White as his top two options. Luckily, another guy has Foster, and never cut him even tho he's outta the playoffs.

So this guy better pray for Davis to play, otherwise it's gonna be a long 3 days ;-D

That is huge. I have a similar situation in my first playoff game. My opponent has Alexander and Davis. Yesterday when I saw that Davis might rest, I picked up Foster since I have Portis. As stated in a previous thread, this person hasn't changed their team since November 8, so the chances of a big 0 in one column is good. They also have McNair, and if he doesn't play it will be another one. I hope I get lucky!!! :-)

I am in the championship game against a guy who is starting A Green and A-Train, plus DJax in the flex spot. As soon as I saw Portis was hurt, I grabbed Anderson, then Foster when I saw Davis would most likely be held out.

I'll be able to start 3 RB's and since he has Randy and C Johnson for his WR's, I'll be able to offset a little of his advantage.

I love that late season WW work!

I wouldn't start Anderson unless you had nothing left.

Wish I could say that. I have been busy lately so I was not able to get to my computer and get in my WW picks. I missed out on Akers for this week and Lee Suggs since it is a keeper league. I hope I can still pull out a win this week but it may be tough.

I grabbed him to keep away from the other guy.

I'll keep a close eye on the Davis situation and make my choices later this week.
