Clarrett has toned down his threats to challenge the NFL's rules for underclassmen due to a counter proposal from the league stating that if he passes the rigid 'Spell NFL' test they'll let him in. unfortunately Clarrett has neglected to show up for his tutoring sessions. Says he has been too busy not attending his other classes!
I think Jackson has the most potential of the three, and I see him going in the middle of the first round, possibly competing for playing time but nothing significant
I agree - I think Jackson will be taken first and will be the most effective, but Perry is a power back and will get a lot of looks in the endzone...if he puts up the yards, he could be a weapon

I think that Jackson will go first in the draft out of that group, but any of the three(plus possibly Sproles) could be great next year depending on what team drafts them.

I can tell you guys are not draft guru's. S. Jackson is the all around best back in the draft. 6-2 223lbs runs only a 4.5 40. He catches great and runs over people. Jones is the fast guy, he runs a 4.35 40 and has that Portis type of breakaway speed. He is tough and has a nose for the endzone. Chris Perry is a Mack Truck type of back, big, decent speed and catches well. He will be around late first or early second depending on his combine numbers. Cadallic Williams (if he enters) will also be a solid back. It's very likely that Perry or Williams will have a star on their helment next year.
Some of you guys are dead wrong about these guys not making an impact. Rookie RB's have huge impacts. If Jackson goes with the #6 overall pick to Detroit, which I believe could happen, then I would be selecting him high in my FF draft. He would automatically be in ranked around #8 to #12 in FF RB Rankings. No joke, that's mid second round level. I'm in a Keeper League, won it all this year, big $$ and these Rookie RB's need to be looked at close if your a real FF team owner. Good Luck.

Hey King, that's funny. Actually my friends call me NFLknowitall and so I just used it as my log in everywhere I go. Of course I know better than to think I know it all. If I did I would be working for a real NFL team instead of my own make believe FF Team. I'd apply, but they always laugh. Why? lol.

Doesnt matter who laughs at you. The most important is the one who laughs last. But drafting a rookie RB very high second round is a lot of risk. I would start drafting rookies around the sixth round. Predicting which rookie would have the biggest impact is like catching ligthning in a bottle. Most rookies, I think, have a big towards the end of the season.
However , being from Virginia Tech and actually seeing Kevin Jones play, I think he is the best. Lee Suggs now with the Browns is also from Virginia Tech. They were nicknamed the "untouchables" of college football, cos they were sharing the ball and getting the job done. I think Kevin Jones is better than Lee Suggs.
