Wow, this is huge news.....I thought he traded football for NASCAR for good.

If this happens, the Redskins will be a scary team to face in a couple years. One of the best coaches ever, teamed with an owner willing to spend any amount to win. :-o

I have heard Gibbs in so many interviews say that there is no chance that he would return to coaching football. He say he loves what he does and there is no way that he is going to give up the cars that he owns and go back to football

Even though I would love to see it happen it will not......the chance of Gibbs returning to coaching is about the same as Barry Sanders coming out of retirement!!!!

Rosey, it looks more and more likely that he could very well be the next coach as early as today

Gibbs would be just what the doctor ordered for this ailing franchise. A Head Coach who is in it for the passion and not the money! Gibbs has enough of his own, that he can get back to the nitty gritty. He won't have to follow Snyder's wishes and be at his beck and call just because he signs the paychecks. It wouldn't suprise me too much if Gibbs even had a clause or two put into his contract stating that he (Gibbs) would have more say in the Players, Free Agents and Coaches (hiring/firing aspects in all areas).

Believe it or not Rosie, but it looks like this really could happen. So I think you may wanna tell Barry to start lacing up his cleats here soon!! ;-D
