LOL

Saban is well paid, has a job for life with LSU and probably made the right choice. I hope he doesnt regret it in future years.

1 winning season the last 8 years and many people thought that year was a fluke. I'd say that was bad.

Hm...

Get paid $3 million a year (highest in college football) and coach one of the best teams, or get something similar in pay, and coach one of the worst teams? :-? Must have been a hard decision, especially taking into account the successes of Butch Davis and Steve Spurrier...

The guy is the highest paid coach in college football. Not to say that he couldn't make more in the NFL but I think if he likes the college system and lesser pressure it would take alot to get him to leave. He was an assistant in the NFL before so I think he knows what it would be like in the NFL though. Maybe he just doesn't want ot be a headcoach in the NFL.

Or maybe he has found his place in life ... role model for all the ignorant smack talking coon-asses in Baton Rouge. ;-D

Sounds like you guys are gonna get table scraps unless you end up with a coordinator from a current playoff team.
