False Alarm.

Postby Guttpuppy » Sun Jan 11, 2004 4:02 pm

The Titans were jarred awake early yesterday morning when the fire alarm went off at the hotel housing the team in Providence, R.I.

Around 1:45 a.m., the fire alarm at the Westin Hotel went off. At least three fire trucks showed up, but 15 minutes later an announcement said it was a false alarm.

Hotel guests received an apology letter later yesterday morning.

Was the alarm a prank by a Patriots fan? The hotel's general manager was not available for comment yesterday.

That's pretty good. If it was a Pat's fan it was low. I don't think it would have affected their chances of winning though.

The game was at 8pm, I bet the players didn't have to be anywhere till like noon at the earliest anyhow. They should have had time to sleep in.

If the game was played in Florida, would we call for a recount of the points?
