Exactly right. And, again, look at the last attempt for proof.
This team with a true get-me-10-yards-when-it-absolutely-counts receiver wouldn't be looking at Championship Game from home.
If Vermeil has anything left in the tank, he'll address this. Soon.
And T.O., IMO, could do worse for himself than playing for KC.

Eddie Kennison and Johnnie Morton were the Achille's heel for KC all season long.
Want proof?
The last play of the game, down 7, with absolutely nothing to lose, the Chiefs run the ball with Priest Holmes.
Unlike Martz in last night's game, this wasn't a particularly bad call by Vermeil. This was zero faith in his WRs. And it was probably justified.

Eddie and Johnnie will be looking for work this Spring.

My 2 cents, anyway.

I agree wholeheartedly. They are trying to get by with #2s and #3s as top WRs and it doesn't work (usually). I think KC should trade up to get Fitz.

Exact same deal, IMO, at Philadelphia with Thrash and Pinkston.
Will be interesting to see how it goes with the Packers tonight.

They have the talent at the defensive positions, they just need better coaching.

yeah, but a few good lineman might make it easier... sure if they managed to grab fitzgerald they might be able to win those 40-47 point games easier. If they get a defense and a awesome TO or Fitzgerald calibre player..then they wouyld become the '99 rams on turf grass home away..it wouldnt matter
