That's what I have heard. That is why I want to get a PS, the XBox you have to buy the adapter and pay like 40 bucks a month to play online...PS is much cheaper.

If your comp is close to the ps2, you need the adapter and an ethernet cable to run from the cpu/router to the ps2. If it's in a completely different room, I'd recommend a wireless receiver. Not sure how much those cost tho

I've never been in one before, but I've seen and heard about how it works. Basically, you have anywhere from 8-32 teams that play out a season and have playoffs, obviously ending in a "super bowl." From there, the remaining teams can either pick a new team or stick with the one they have. When teams play each other each week, they basically get in contact, and pick a good day to play within the week.
It's just basically a tournament, comparable to any type of play-off system. In order to make it a little more organized, we need to start a sign-up list and update it. Off the top of my head, I can think of the following that have shown interest:

AF

And AwwC and DUKE, you definitely need to get hooked up with the adapter. It's fairly easy to install, especially if you have Broadband, and it just cost $40. And it's obviously not just for Madden, if you are a fan of the Live or NCAA series as well.
