Yes, this forum is long overdue.

Glad to see this forum in place but I guess we are really starting to show that most of us in the Cafe are geeks. Football and video games.

I guess I am just happy that I am not the only one out there!!!

hehehe....me too....I used to love this one game on atari that had a criminal in black/white striped suit dropping bombs and you are this table w/ a bunch of glasses of water trying to catch them before they hit the ground and blow up....it's one of my 1st video game experiences from my youth. ;-D

ABout this forum: Great idea! I've wanted to see this for a while, after seeing all of the Madden ?'s that popped up on the general topic forum......I'm sure I'll have a few ?'s regarding that game in the future....I'm officially hooked on it

That game was sweeeet!

I enjoyed that game also, Bucky - it's in my top 8 old-school wood-grained game storage case ;-D

Along with that can be found Missile Command, Space Invaders, Basketball, Vanguard, Ms. Pac Man, Megamania, and my all-time favorite, Target Fun (aka Air-Sea Battle). I can tool anyone on game setting #12 B-)

You would be referring to that great Activision paddle game, Kaboom. I saw a guy at college who was absolutely unstoppable at that game. He could easily get over 10000 points at any time. The bombs were going so fast - I have no idea how anyone can even process the twisting paddle motion at that speed.

lol......I know exactly what you are talking about....when you get good at that game, you look super-human catching all of those bombs at light speed....very fun game.
