My favorite NES game has to be Mike Tyson's Punch Out!! It took me forever to be good enough to beat it, but now I can turn it on after 2 years of it being on the shelf and go 13-0 with 13 KO's.
I liked all the Mario Bros. games, Battletoads was money too. I found that game to be really challenging as well. It is fun to try to do the entire speeder section of level 3 without looking at the screen. I almost did it one time but I bit it on the section where there are no ramps...I should try that again sometime.

Man I gott chime in here...NES was the bomb back in the day. Me and a buddy would rent games from a local video store every weekend.
Some of my favs...Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Contra, all the Dragon Warriors, all the Final Fantasies, Super Mario 2 and 3 were pretty cool, Legendary Wings, I could go on and on.
I definately loved Mario. Then I always played Bases Loaded II like all day long. There was also a soccor game I remember, they were like munchkins kicking a ball around. And Ice Hockey, I loved it even with the horrible sound effects. I wish I never sold it.... I still have my SNES though
