My satelite is out and won't be back and working until tomorrow . I'm gonna make it a chill night and rent a few movies. Give me some recomendations. New release or old; I'm not one who will only rent from the new release section. I usually dig most genres....so:
Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
Great movie about Chuck (Gong Show) Barris. Womanizer, TV genius, CIA hitman? An auspicious directorial debut from George Clooney. An absolutely brilliant portrayal by Sam Rockwell should have, at least, garnered a Oscar Nomination, if not been an out-right run-away triumph for Rockwell in the best lead actor category. But, Hollywood, as it is, chose not to honor the man. Not the best movie of the year, but probably one of the top 10, and with the top performance by an actor, bar none.

Obviously depends greatly on your tastes, mood, and a million other things. But if you're just looking for sheer comedic entertainment value, rent the Ref. No plot, no car chases, no explosions, no deep character development...just some of the funniest dialog ever filmed.
I recently saw it again for the first time in a couple years and don't remember laughing so much at a movie. I'd completely forgotten how good it is. Best holiday film ever.
