Will he be the feature back next year? He did pretty good before he got hurt at the end of this season.

He should. T.J. Duckett can't do much and I think that Warrick Dunn can help the offense more. Duckett is a short yardage guy at best, IMO.

Yea, I wouldn't expect the situation in Atlanta to change much...there's barely any talk of bringing in anybody new...and that means Warrick will get the start IMO

u guys dont think they are ytrying to phase duckett in? i agree that hes better suited as a short yardage guy and dunn was very good last year when given the chance, so id give him the start.... but with the new coach and all maybe they would be looking to go young. :-?

From CBS Sportsline...

RUNNING BACKS
Starters -- RB Warrick Dunn, FB Justin Griffith. Backups -- RBs T.J. Duckett, Woody Dantzler, Travis Jervey; FB George Layne.

In his first two seasons with the Falcons, Dunn never really been utilized the way many envisioned. He's a very good receiver, and a fine pass protector, too. Duckett's still not very good in pass protection, and while he's better as a receiver that many predicted.

That doesn't really help much, but I would think at best, Duckett will have the same role he did this season - RBBC and goal line carries. I'd guess Warrick Dunn will continue to be the yardage RB. He was awesome in the few games before he was injured.

It warms my heart to see these nice, intelligent young men share the football. Whoever says athletes are greedy are seriously disturbed. Greed? No way! These guys are all class acts.
