i got the panthers. Steve Smith is a BEAST and i think hes gonna break away from Ty Law on a big play that wins it. I can feel it in me bones.

Comes down to two line battles. Can Carolina get pressure on Brady, can New England stop Davis from running. Whoever wins their particular battle, wins the game.

I think the start of the game will really dictate the winner.

If the Panthers get down quick, they will have to abandoned the running game at some point (yes, I know that for the Panthers they tend to stick with the run longer than most teams) and Jake Delhomme could get rattled by the Pats secondary.

If the Panthers are the ones who get on the board early, well then we are talkin about a completely different ball game. The Panthers ball control offense could kill the clock and limit Tom Brady's scoring opportunities. Meanwhile, the playaction passes for the Panthers would become very dangerous.

Most likely though this game will come down to a huge turnover, and I think it will be the Patriots who benefit from this. The Pats led the league in interceptions this year.

I'm picking the Pats. I seem them getting turnovers and rattling the Panthers. Something like 17-6, or 17-14 in my book, depending on how early NE can get them to abandon the run.
Brady: a "very mediocre QB" - no1cowboysfan

Mitchell: "To me, the Patriots are not that good. ... We're the better team... A good team crushes that Patriot team. I'm telling you, they're not that good.'
