I was planning on getting an off-brand PS2 adapter for like $20 but when i called EB and asked if they had any in stock he told me that the Go-Net (the only off-brand ones that are actually made especially for PS2 play) had been discontinued and that they didn't work with hardly any games anyway. Deft, or any of you other guys that have an off-brand one, is this true that it doesn't work with most games? What kind of games does it not work with? I know Madden works with the non-Sony ones but any other good ones?
I have a friend with the off-brand and it doesnt work for some reason with several games.. i know madden works with it, but i say your best just to drop the extra 15-20 bucks and pick up the ps2 certified one...

I think that guy was spewing a crock of bull...
But, to be sure, plop down the extra dough and get the Sony official adapter
Alright, I think that is what I'll do.
What I heard was that any games that you need a startup disk or whatever for will not work since that disk only comes with the Sony adapter and so you don't have it if you have the off-brand one. I guess it just depends on the game whether or not it needs that disk. I think I will try to get the Sony one though.
Alright, I bid on and won both an adapter and Madden tonight, I will pay for them tomorrow so they should be here in about a week. Hopefully I can get it all up and running quickly. I will need to find a good team that is still available too. Is there anything I need to do to get online or can I just plug it in and play?

You'll need an ethernet cable to connect your router to the PS2...other than that, it's plug and play baby

The Dolphins, Cowboys, Falcons, Panthers, Broncos, Eagles are all still available among the best left
I thought Miami was already drafted...are they still available?
I guess I need to check if my ethernet cable is long enough. Would hate to get it all set up and thne have my cable be a foot too short, that would suck...
