We are having some friends over to watch the Super Bowl and I just wondered if anyone knew the particulars about the broadcast? What time pre-game starts, etc, etc. I know it starts at 6:25 and is on CBS, but not sure about all the pre-game stuff that is actually worth watching. Thanks for your help!

I'd too like to know Dihall....I always need to tune into the pregame stuff so my wife will know what the hell is going on w/ the game and it's teams. :-D

I'm pretty sure there will be pregames starting at like 2 o'clock. I heard something about it last week. The kickoff is normally slated for about 6:30, but it's always 5 minutes late. If you go by the schedule to the right (which is a good thing to do), we're looking at 6:25 for a start.

I don't know exactly but I usually tune in about an hour early. The really early pregame shows are usually really bad.

onyl about the lsat 1 hour mabee less is worth watching the rest is just terreble journalism

Yeah I don't know when the "official" pregame starts but from the early afternoon on there is stuff on every channel about it so I usually just flop around checking stuff out until about 30-60 minutes before the game and then just leave it on the right channel

I think the "unofficial" pregame started about 235 hrs. ago.

I knew it was on pretty much all day but I didn't remember if there was an "official" pregame show on CBS at a certain time. I guess I'll just plan an hour or so before the game. Thanks all for your 2 cents worth! Happy watching this weekend!

I remember last year they had pre-game type stuff as early as noonish. If you're gonna be having a get together, I'm sure there will be plenty of entertainment at 2pm (and allows a nice window to get liquored up before the game).
