People participate in drafts for the fun of it (or as a time burner while the users try and cope with severe offseason withdrawls) and to gain some insight as to how others rank various players for their real drafts come summer-time.

...I'll participate in a mock draft after the NFL Draft because I've participated in two early drafts for next season already. Things could change a lot over the next few months (Priest being traded to San Diego and LT2 being benched? - it could happen!) and I'd like to see how ranking change around then as I already have a good idea where players are ranked now.

How come I wasn't informed of this?

Seriously though, I'm enjoying the season being over and moving on to baseball. I don't do baseball for money, but it's good challenge to manage a team, and you are still managing and developing your fantasy skills.

You could probably start one anywhere. There seems to be enough people in here daily. Assign 10 guys a club and do a draft. I'd be interested in watching the results, although I'm not sure I'm here enough to participate, and frankly I can wait several months, thanks..

Better clear it with the mods though, and keep your threads to a minimum so you don't clutter the forum with a mock draft.
