No...Texans are not rednecks. I know some people here who are as die-hard Texas people as I am a Vikings fan and they are not rednecks. They have the southern accent and all but they aren't the kind of people who would ride around in a huge truck with a shotgun in the back window and have high confederate flags all over. Much different people. Now Arkansas, never been there...but seeeing as Clinton is from there, I don't care to.

I know a few people from Texas myself Born, Bred and Raised and my one friend comes from a small town in the south west of Texas and now is a corparate accountant in Dallas and he sounds like a slack jawed hick and he even refers to himself as a redneck.

Even though he isnt anything close to being the definition of a redneck.
