Panthers victims of bad Karma?

Postby 49ers Forever » Mon Feb 02, 2004 12:49 pm

So, I had this thought last night..... it really doesn't mean anything, but I found it funny.

In the "Game before the game" (which is now obsolete) Steve Smith was up 14-7 when he got a long TD run by Stephen Davis. Instead of going for the EP, he went for 2, and got it. Now, I know all of you play video FB, and you know that going for 2 angers the Video Game gods. So, I found it funny that in the Game after the game, both times the Panthers went for 2 they got stuffed, while when the Patriots went for 2 they got in barely touched. Did the VGG wait to unleash their fury until the big game? One can only wonder.....
