I would much rather have a sure thing like portis or tomlinson, a work horse back who is going to post great numbers, and probably be in all season.

In a redraft league, how on earth could you not? He had over 20 TDs the year before too, so I'm pretty sure he was the center of attention for defenses last year...

It would definitely depend on what team Brunell landed on. If, for instance, Jake Plummer's house was set on fire and during the escape an android climbed into his window and vaporized him, I'd draft Brunell as a Bronco.
Neither is top 12 material IE neither are starters IE it may not matter which one you draft. However... I'd say Ramsey has more upside than Brunell.

well it's just fantasy -fodder. They'll revise it a handful of times over the months.

Only 3 leagues this year. No sense in rooting for everyone in the NFL.

i have tomlinson above holmes but thats it
Don't you think Holmes was the focus of the defense this year based on what he did last year? Why wouldn't Tomlinson be the focus of defenses based on what the Chargers have? What about Jamal? Don't you think teams knew he was all the Ravens had and still got 2,000 yards. I don't understand why you call Portis and Tomlinson a sure thing. Portis doesn't like to play through injuries (sat out 4 games this year) and Holmes has more talent around him than Tomlinson does. I think you're way off in your thinking. Providing Holmes does not get injured, he will score 20+ TDs again. IMO, Tomlinson is the best back in the NFL (look what he did last year with all the crap surrounding him) but mgmnt needs to get some better players to take the burden off him.

Considering the injuries Portis accumulated in '03, I wouldn't call him a sure thing. Let's hope he doesn't become the next Fred Taylor. I can make a case for Tomlinson being ahead of Holmes and possibly even Green, but no one else.

I agree. Priest can stinkin jump over a defender and kick him in the back; he's incredibly talented. Guys like LT and Portis also have incredible speed and quickness, but Priest still has the edge in my opinion and according to the stats.
I also think Kerry Collins and Michael Bennet are both too low on this list.

Oh c'mon, I can jump over a defensive back but that doesn't make me better than LT or Portis.
I just think that this is the year that you see Priest start to decline while LT and Portis are on the rise.
