The Cards dont need another receiver. They need to get another defensive player; maybe a strong, quick linebacker or defensive end.

I sure hope the Cardinals don't waste a top pick on a QB when they already have a young QB in development.

They are probably hoping that Fitz falls to them. If McCown panned out, just imagine a young offense that included McCown, Shipp, Boldin, and Fitzgerald.

then emmits old @$$ stealing touchdowns from shipp.

McCown produced when given a chance last year, but with a new coach, who knows.

I'd look at team stats to validate Arizona's draft needs..

but I'm too lazy. I would expect them to draft D considering the O seemed effective at least. At least as of 1:00 am.

lol

I don't think McCown should be totally counted out. He looked pretty good to me in limitted duty. If they do draft Rothlisberger though, McCown could suffer a similar fate to Mike McMahon of the Lions.

I'm not understanding what the plan is in AZ. Why deal Blake when he is the kind of vet QB you'd want to help bring along your 3rd year QB? They have a decent enough Offense, what they need is to focus on getting faster and smarter on the D side of the ball. That's what killed them last season.
Thank God for Football Season.

In all of the speculation over the motives of the Cardinals it seems there is one thing not considered: Where're talking about the Cardinals! The things they do don't have any rhyme or reason. Probably couldn't pay Blake and Emmitt the Clown both.
