Hey guys, I have been practicing with the Broncos a lot but I can't beat anybody. Their offense is really good with Portis (92 I think), Plummer, and Rod Smith is a 90. My problem is defense. i know you guys said that all a D has to do it force TOs but I can't seem to do that. Even when I pick good play and my guys get in position every time my DBs drop the ball. My run D is great, three 80s LBs, a couple 90 lineman and a couple other good lineman but my secondary is terrible. After Deltha O'Neal who is an 86 all my CBs are 60s and my safeties are 70s. I am thinking about switching teams...

I did almost beat the Bucs on All-Pro since they have a pretty bad O.

zone defense is a good way for picks. really the only way if you dont have a strong secondary.

Yea...you get a lot more INT's playing a zone D, esp with the computer. If you're playing against some dude, bringing some zone blitzes work well b/c youll force him to throw the ball sooner than he wants into ur zone

What the heck? Since when is Deltha O'Neal a WR? So my elite CB has now turned into a below average WR, a posisiton that I had a lot of depth in? How good a WR is he? Are any of the other CBs better than a 70?

I just checked the Broncos team site, there were a bunch of secondary changes this year... :-°

I will see if zone helps at all but I have been doin wuite a bit of it. The other problem is that I don't really know who I would be if not them.

yeah i traded ward for corey dillon, then traded dillon and randle el for vick...since then hes been my team...
but INT's are easiest in zone as they said, but if you get a good D it is possible to have a good defense on madden. This year is turning out to be my best year, im 13-0, and have the 4th ranked D and 1st TO ratio. Although my rookie RB and vick are amazing for me...ever since getting holt in FA...

Vick is insanely overrated in that game. Get him if you want free wins, especially if you're on all-pro.

Yea, the only problem with that is that the Falcons D is no better than the Broncos'...

Could somebody tell me if any of the other Broncos' CBs are any better? Now that they don't have Deltha as a CB if none of the other guys got any better they will have only 60s. :-o

lenny walls and kelly herndon are the starters now i do believe...they are my 3rd fav team so i follow them fairly close...dont know what they are on madden...i think theyre both 2nd years so thatd probably explain the low numbers...
